WHO WE ARE

Founder & Executive Director

Bettina Gannon

Hi! I'm Bettina, and I founded Justice Advocates Network because I know firsthand how lonely it can feel to navigate life after surviving sexual abuse. My own case spent more than three years working its way through the justice system. During that time, I sat through countless interviews and retold my story over and over again, hoping for answers that ultimately never came. While I couldn't change what happened to me, I realized I could help make sure other survivors didn't have to face that journey alone.

I created JAN to be the kind of community I wish I had: a place where survivors can find trusted resources, connect with people who understand, and know that someone is always in their corner. Whether we're helping someone access legal or medical support, sharing educational resources, or simply reminding a survivor that they are not alone, everything we do is rooted in compassion and empowerment.

Today, I advocate for survivor-focused policy at both the state and national levels, working alongside lawmakers, advocacy organizations, and community leaders to push for a justice system that better serves survivors. My hope is that Justice Advocates Network can be a place where healing begins, voices are amplified, and every survivor knows they are believed, supported, and never alone.

Laura Anthony

Founding Partner Anthony L.G., PLLC

For more than two decades Ms. Anthony has focused her law practice on small and mid-cap private and public companies, the OTC markets, Nasdaq, NYSE American, going public transactions, Regulation A+, mergers and acquisitions, private placement and corporate finance transactions, Exchange Act and other regulatory reporting requirements, state and federal securities laws, and general corporate law.

Ms. Anthony and the ALG legal team have represented buyers, sellers, underwriters, placement agents, investors, and shareholders in mergers, acquisitions and corporate finance transactions valued in excess of $1 billion. Prior to founding Anthony L.G., PLLC, Ms. Anthony served as Chief Legal Counsel for a national investment banking firm and Nasdaq broker dealer with over 200 employees. Ms. Anthony is recognized throughout small and mid-cap cap industry as the creator and author of www.SecuritiesLawBlog.com. She is also the producer and host of LawCast.com, Corporate Finance in Focus. Ms. Anthony is an honors graduate from Florida State University College of Law and has been practicing law since 1993. Ms. Anthony is on the Legislative & Regulatory Affairs division committee of CfPA, the Crowdfunding Professional Association and is on the Board of Directors of the American Red Cross Palm Beach and Martin County Chapter. She currently resides in Palm Beach with her husband and daughter.

Roy Morris

Roy Morris is an accomplished executive with experience in business, law, technology, and academia. He holds an MBA from The Wharton School, a Juris Doctor from The George Washington University Law School, and dual engineering master’s degrees from MIT.

Over several decades, Mr. Morris has built a career advising corporations, startups, and investors in telecommunications, finance, law, and emerging technologies. He successfully led complex litigation, navigated high-stakes regulatory challenges, strategic business transactions, and growth initiatives. Mr. Morris currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Entrepreneurial Finance and Law at NewU, Washington, DC, and has been actively engaged in mentorship and pro bono work. He is widely regarded for his strategic insight, governance expertise, and ability to align legal, regulatory, and business priorities to create sustainable value for organizations.
