The Nancy J. Cotterman Center is Broward County's certified sexual assault program and provides comprehensive services for survivors of sexual assault, child abuse, and human trafficking. Services include a 24-hour crisis hotline, crisis counseling, individual, family, and group therapy, forensic medical examinations, victim advocacy, hospital and court accompaniment, assistance with Crime Victim Compensation applications, relocation assistance, multilingual counseling (English, Spanish, and Creole), and ongoing follow-up care. Medical staff also provide no-cost STI screening and, when appropriate, emergency STI and pregnancy prophylaxis during forensic examinations

Mary and Elizabeth's House is a Broward County nonprofit that provides transitional housing and homelessness prevention services for women and children, including survivors of domestic violence. In addition to safe housing, the organization offers trauma-informed counseling referrals, domestic violence recovery support, financial literacy education, parenting classes, job readiness training, employment assistance, life-skills development, and ongoing case management after families leave the program. Their goal is to help women achieve long-term stability through housing, economic empowerment, and continued community support.

Legal Aid Service of Broward County's Victims of Crime (VOCA) Program provides free civil legal services to eligible Broward County residents who have been impacted by crime, including survivors of sexual assault, rape, child sexual abuse, human trafficking, stalking, hate crimes, financial crimes, and other violent offenses. Attorneys assist survivors with obtaining injunctions for protection (including sexual violence, stalking, repeat violence, and domestic violence), housing issues such as eviction or foreclosure related to victimization, identity theft and fraud matters, and other civil legal issues that arise because of the crime. Services are provided by appointment and are designed to help survivors protect their legal rights while promoting long-term safety and stability.
